Welcome to Visit Kampala, the official pathfinder portal for Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA). By using this portal, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use this site.
1. About the Portal
Visits Kampala is a navigation and tourism platform developed under the authority of KCCA to help locals and tourists explore Kampala City and its surroundings. The portal allows businesses to publish their services, including media and GPS coordinates, and helps tourists discover and navigate to these attractions with ease.
2. User Accounts
To access full features, users must create an account. Users can publish their businesses, upload images or videos, list services, and share location data for easy discovery. The KCCA tourism admin may also upload businesses on behalf of users.
3. Events and Activities
Businesses that organize events may publish them on the platform. Visitors and residents can browse and discover events happening around the city.
4. Business Listings and Reservations
When a reservation is made through the platform, the business owner receives a notification. KCCA verifies businesses before publishing to enhance safety, but users are encouraged to exercise caution when transacting.
5. Fraud Prevention
While we take steps to verify businesses, KCCA is not liable for any fraudulent transactions or losses. Users are advised to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
6. Feedback and Ratings
Users may submit reviews and star ratings for businesses listed on the platform. This feedback is used to improve user experience and support quality service providers.
7. Legal Framework
The Authority is a corporate body under the laws of Uganda and operates in accordance with the Kampala Capital City Authority Act. Any laws applicable to districts, with necessary modifications, apply to the Authority.
8. Modifications
KCCA reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the portal constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
